Construction is just about complete. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the page.
Here is a short description of who we are about and what we hope to accomplish.
Our post was established in 1996. The Explorers is a division of the Boy scouts of America which gives young men and women ages 14-20 a chance to observe and learn first hand about a potential career in Law enforcement. Our Post meets twice a month and meetings consist of various topics in law enforcment, including, classroom lectures, hands on practical exercises, field trips, and the ride along program. The ride along program consists of a uniformed explorer teamed up with a patrol officer. They go out on patrol and observe first hand the acutal day to day activities of a patrol officer. Our Post certifies all of its exploeres in first aid and cpr along with limited cross training in the fire service and emergency medical services
Well its hard to believe summer is over already, but its back to school time. Good luck to all you seniors this year and have fun.
